Today's flag day... Woke up at 7.30 and met shiyu and yong rong at 8.30. We were supposed to meet as a class at yishun mrt for the collection of donation tins at nee soon cc. So after we've done that, it's off to orchard we go! I went together with Vaish, shiyu, ayuni and yong rong. Initially it was tough... the donation tin was like a human repeller because people tend to avoid you and you'll have a whole passageway to yourself! muahaha... I remembered lingering near the "house of condom" begging people for donations. haha. so anyway, there was a self declared break in between where all of us crowd into macdonalds for the AIRCON! I got myself a chocolate sundae, which makes me feel pretty queasy after that.. Probably because I skipped lunch or something...
Lets talk about the people. Hmm.. Generally I think singaporeans are generous. A piece of advice though... Don't ever ask from foreigners! especially the young and hippie ones... They'll survey you from head to toe and make you feel as though you're some kind of a weirdo... The older foreigners are not too bad though... In fact, I think they're nice people! haha...
Overall, it was a good experience... Come to think of it, it's quite fun actually. But getting rejected many times in a row won't do either... Oh and my tin was like only slightly less than half full.. wahahaha.. and I remembered going home with a terrible stomachache.. OW!! oh well I guess that wraps up my typical saturday afternoon...

AHH! I lost my GP/AP maths lecture notes!! How bad can that be?? It wasn't actually my fault at all though... Just trying to be a nice person by lending someone my lecture notes to photocopy. Turned out that the someone
LOST my notes! ARGH! Do you know that I have real important stuff inside?? And there's this tutorial 9 attach to the back of it... Haizz.. What is the world coming to?? And the thing is that the someone simply loves to flip through my file and grab whatever paper that she/he needs to photocopy only to be reminded to return it back. Sorry I know I sound mean but this is the only place where I can vent whatever feelings I have... It's really bottling up in me... yup and it's once again a stressful day in school.
Oh and there's camp from the 19 to 21 of April. It was ok though I would have love to go with pioneer 32A instead. :(
First day was simply just dilly dallying, wasting our time while waiting for previous campers to finish their area cleaning. OH and did I mention that the camp was in jalan baterah? It's just directly opposite camp serimbun! haha.. I kinda got used to camp sirimbun's surroundings instead... Probably because I spent most of my secondary school camps there. So after we had the whole area to ourselves, lunch was next (field cooking) and boy was I hungry. In fact, I felt hungry throughout the whole camp. LOL. This is so unlike me... OK so after lunch was water activities! Our class didn't get to kayak though... And the sad thing is I have never kayaked before in my whole entire life! There was another occasion in sec sch but the stupid sky darkened before we could even reach the waters... haizz. We did rafting instead. Our class lost the rafting competition against other classes so I guess that's the reason why we didn't get to kayak in the first place... besides that, there's also water safety "lessons" where we get to test out our life jackets by floating around in the waters. Did I mention that the seawater was exceptionally salty? My eyes hurt too and I saw a dead crab amidst the waters. wahahaha....
After kayaking we were given about half an hour just to WASH UP. Meaning that no soaping or bathing was allowed, just merely rinsing off the stinky sea water. The feeling afterwards wasn't very good either because I don't think it makes any difference because I think I still smell of dead crabs and seawater... Tower activities were next where we did abseiling (I didn't try that one), rock wall, zipline (flying fox) and challenge pole (I didn't try this either). Zipline was fun! Rock wall was okay. Many managed to reach the top. haha. Bathing time was horrible. I left like a mere 3 to 4 minutes to bath? Shared a cubicle with my classmate in the end haha.. and it was like so weird...but it was a major time saver.
Second day kicks off with PT in the morning at 5.45am. Can you imagine? it's like super early... I woke up at 4 by the way. In case you're wondering what the hell is PT, its intensive morning exercise conducted by ms lee. We did push ups, crunches, jumping jacks in whatever styles you can think off, squats, leg raiser and many more I guess... And I was so sleepy I almost fell asleep on my back while doing crunches.. haha. Breakfast was next and after that was high and low elements. High elements consists of 5 stations twin centipede, broken bridge, balance walk, high bouldering wall and multi line traverse... Actually I don't really know which is which.. I tried only one station though and it's something like rock wall also... whatever. Low elements consist of nitro crossing, trolleys, the walls, spider web and pole N tire. But seriously I don't enjoy any of it... Just simply sailing through time waiting for the moment when they will announce our trip back home...
Third day started with PT as usual, followed by breakfast and area cleaning. Our class hit the kitchen. All I want to say is we were darn lucky to have the kitchen because the worst place to clean up would non other be the toilet, especially for the girls. YUCK! After that was home sweet home!
So enough about the camp... I'm getting pretty worried about the bio mock spa tomorrow. Got to go study like shit.. haizz

Today's good friday! NO school! WHoo! Oh and there's 32A outing today as well.. I overslept by the way.. haha. Xinfang woke me up from my slumber after which i met up with jewel at woodlands MRT. Apparantly she's late too... haha. Then we went to bukit gombak sports stadium for badminton. I suck at the game.. *sobz* ya.. So after badminton was lunch. Ms wong took us to a nearby coffeshop and we ate there. Initially we decided to head for ms wong or sam's house to bath but ended up playing basketball in the rain under ms wong's flat.. Then after that we went back to the sports stdaium to use the toilet for freshening up only to get wet once again on our way to the mrt... that's lame... From bukit gombak we traveled to woodlands where we sang karaoke at the civic centre's KTV. There's a name for the place but I forgot what's it called. Jewel decided to go home after badminton which left sam, xinfang, yunxuan, huifang, me, ms wang and ms wong. oh and we sang loads of songs.. lol.. ms wong can sing quite well actually.. no wonder she likes to sing.. huifang and xinfang refuses to sing though... haha. I had fun!
Oh ya and yesterday we went to pizza hut for dinner! The feeling was great because you know that there's no school the next day and that you can stay up pretty late afterwards. Anyway, i just wanna say that pioneer 32A u ROX! :)

I ran 3 times round teletubby hill for the first time today! What an achievement.. lol.. 3 times around that hill is equilavent to 6 rounds on the track, i think... And the weird thing is running round the hill is very much less intimidating than on the track! PArt of the reason might be because of the change of scenery I guess... And its only like 3 rounds? Instead of the usual 6 that make you dread running right from the very start where you start to feel demoralised by number of rounds that you have to run. haha. So anyway I finished with what I consider a satisfactary timing, which is like 14 plus plus if I remembered correctly... I improved by a minute as compared to when I ran on the track. So tellytubby hill isn't that terrible after all.. Initially I thought that it's a killer.. So who knows? I might start looking forward to running around tellytubby hill!
I have also decided on my CCA, which turned out to be red cross instead of the new media arts. The teacher in charge told me that new media arts meetings were like twice a week? And I felt so cheated because initially they told us that it was once a week. I dropped NMA immediately on yesterday and attended the red cross meeting. Surprisingly, the meeting cum orientation was quite enjoyable I guess... the people were nice and the games were not bad. haha. We played papaya ball and passed pieces of apples on toothpicks using only our mouths ( we cheated of course)... ya.. and I got flour all over my face during one of the games... Overall it was quite okay and I kinda look forward to doing community work... haha.
Okay now lets talk about schoolwork. I am so going to flunk every subject man... Biology's like hopeless and I HATE chinese and maths seem to get more complicated with every chapter... Chemistry's heading nowhere as well. I still cannot get the shapes of the atomic structure right... like tetraheral and trigonal planer? WHATEVER... GP's a goner too. I didn't know there's so much rules to apply when writing an argumentitive essays... Oh and there's PI!! AHH! Can't think of any ideas to research on and guess what? The due date's next wednesday. GREAT. Oh and there's camp from the 19 to 21 april. Never ending projects are also heading our way like the stupid runway project during geography where we have to design fashionable clothes using recycled materials which I think this is going to be such a waste of time, resources and effort. Oh and bio prac yesterday was like disasterous... Don't think I wanna elaborate on it. Just the thought of bio prac lessons irks me.
Well I guess that wraps up my ramblings for the day. haha.

I love Saturdays! They are the best days of the week. I went to HK's house today and ran into a little trouble trying to find the door despite the fact that I have gone there like a few times...lol. well actually i was supposed to use lift A. I went into lift B instead.. How silly can I be.. HK came down and fetched me in the end.. and I decided to have lunch at her house. haha. So when we finally reached her home, I saw that her 2 siblings were busy playing maple..lol.. What a typical sight... Then HK brought the biology book and slammed it right in front of my face and I was like.. *GASP* The book was soooo thick and sooo heavy that I couldn't afford to put it in my bag. It'll break... LOL. So as I flipped through the pages, the more demoralised I got.. *sobz*
Well anyway HK showed off her mp4. She selected a song by KISS and showed me the MV and it was the sadest MV I have ever seen. It started off with a guy liking a girl and he was a photographer I think.. then one day this girl went to his home, where he owned a redroom. You know, the place where photographers edit and do funny stuff to their photos... Ya.. and he left this bottle of chemical liquid thingly up on the shelf for the time being without screwing it because he was answering a phone call... After that I think he forgot all about it... When he showed the girl around she wondered into this redroom and tried to get hold of the bottle of chemical from the shelf and it toppled over her onto her face.. Initially I thought she was disfigured or something... It turned out that she became blind.. Then later all of a sudden the scene switched to a hospital ward and she was revived of her sight... She carried on with her life after that.. Then after like a few years she met the man again in the park. He was in black specs and there was a stick in his hand. Apparantly, he became blind as well.. Then the scene flashed back to the operating threatre. He was lying next to the injured girl then... The hospital staff were trying to keep him still as he struggled to take his last look at the girl... Then the scene closed up to his eye where the surgeons prepared to operate on it... It was then I realised that he had decided to give up his vision so that the girl wouldn't go blind... He left her after that so that she wouldn't feel indebted to him. After knowing what actually happened, the girl broke down and sobbed and the guy just walked passed her like nothing happened.. and the MV ended... I felt like crying then.. haha. Love is so powerful. It can make a person do the most self sacrificing things... UNfortunately there is no happy ending to every story... One party is always bound to be hurt. Is that what love is all about?
