Today's Monday. BOO. Monday never fails to give me Monday blues. Oh well so much for life. My mom asked a pretty interesting question yesterday. She asked if Jerome wanted to have dinner with my relatives, her siblings that is. As in Jerome Lim Shi Wei. I was like shock la... She said she suggested that only because I already met his family on Sunday. The experience was one of a kind man... lol.
So my mom went on to tell the whole world about him because before that, most of my relatives didn't know about this at all. And by writing this in my blog, I'm sort of announcing it as well. haha. I thought he was free on friday because i forgot that he took driving lessons. Then he said he CANCELLED his slot just to have dinner with my family and I was like waah.. so touched.. lol. I'm sounding more like president now. LOL.
AHH!! so sian got school tomorrow and tomorrow tomorrow as well! IN fact there's school until Friday! OK.. fine I know I'm crapping.

At causeway yesterday, my mom made me pierce my ears!! And wow that was a total experience... I was so petrified when the man in charge ask me to sit down and face the side la. Then came the gun like piercing thingly. I felt the man aiming right at my ear and "PIAK". I felt a sharp pain on my left ear. Almost cried out man... Almost everyone in the store was looking at me, which was rather embarrassing. I felt like a guinea pig. The worst thing was that it was not over. There was still the right ear to go... However in no time came another "PIAK!" and wala.. the job was done! You cannot imagine how relieved I was man... And yup.. it feels so weird to have something stuck at your ear. The man told me that I was supposed to turn the earring every 4 days and after 1 month, I was allowed to take off my present earring and start buying other earrings to wear. He gave me this bottle of alcohol and told me to add afew drops of it twice a day to the area around the earring to prevent infection. I was so in a daze after the whole piercing drama..lol. So glad it's all over.
Oh yah and I celebrated my grandfather's birthday at Crystal Jade yesterday as well, together with my parents, my two aunts and of course, me. It went okay but I think my grandfather doesn't like me. He kept asking where my brother is instead. He was unable to turn up because of NDP training. Oh whatever.. I concentrated on my food instead. The food was GOOD... LOL.
haha and I did CIP last Monday. I overslept and thought of ponning the whole event but after recieving news that 32A peeps were in it, I agreed immediately to go down to help. And it was so pathetic because I was the only JC1 student in SDP that turned up. Yup and we were suppose to bring the clients from MINDS to the chinese garden, which was somewhere in Jurong, to fish for prawns. Initially, I had NO IDEA at all on what we were suppose to do. Heck I don't even know that prawn fishing existed in singapore. Just to inform you that MINDS is an oragnisation caring for people with slower mental ability. At least that was what I thought. Anyway my MINDS partner was Sin Lin, if I recalled correctly... Yup and she's 40 plus this year, unlike the majority who seems to be younger than her. I was quite puzzled then because I thought it only involves children. And I'm still clueless on what MINDS is actually all about... lol. Ya whatever. So after the clients caught their prawns, it was time for them to leave the place and we, SDP plus 32A peeps took over and WHOA was it fun! I caught 3 prawns, Sam and Huifang caught like 5 each? As for Yunxuan, she caught 3 like me haha. And Xinfang caught 1 pathetic prawn... lol. Yup, we had fun and eating our fruits of labour was even funner. Hehe. I know I'm very bad. Oh and that is the day that I revealed my secret after 3 or 4 months to Sam and XinFang. They were like shock la! haha. It was a pretty memorable day.
The matter was resolved. On this very fateful Saturday afternoon, after stoning around for the entire morning, not knowing what to do with my pathetic little miserable life, I decided to leave a message to clarify the matter. We really needed to TALK. Yup and so after that very powerful conversation, I ended up spending 2 days in a fairy tail like memory. The feeling of being freed from a misunderstanding was good... No doubt about it. We were closer than before actually. Alot of things happened during these 2 days.
There's so much things that I wanna update though... Just that this is not the right place to express my true feelings. So this is cheryl signing off.

It's been so long since I dropped by and yeah, lots of stuffs happen during this very short period of time... Lets start from Sunday. Well on Sunday, I went out with a group of secondary school friends (KH, HK, Trina and SH) and we went to KBOX! That was a real stress reliever man... Oh ya and they got me a white and pink jacket, which fits me pretty well. haha. Oh and they bought a slice of cake (chocolate flavour) and forced me to eat it after a heavy lunch! Imagine the amount of calories consumed... whatever. So after Kbox, we hung aroung Ang Mo Kio Central and took some crazy shots. Kai Hui's brother, who owns a car, sent us home after that. His car was so cool la..
Ok so came Monday, the day which I skipped school for some particular reason. Tuesday came next and I don't remember anything that happened on tuesday except that I was pretty worried abou the Pilot Test that is to be carried out the following day, which was wednesday. Wednesday. The day for our PW group Pilot Test. Not forgetting the Temasek Seminar. Whoo! It's a super duper long day... The day started as usual at 8pm and our PW group was out of school walking towards Woodgrove Primary even before Chemistry Practical lesson ends! Sadly to say, the side and small gate wasn't open during our departure from IJC and so, 2 of my group members and I had to carry super heavy stuffs while walking through the hot, muddy field which was a big round around IJC compound. Seriously, I had trouble keeping up with Shaun and Durwin because their steps were so huge as compared to mine. hohoho. I was practically struggling to keep up with them... Shang and Saras had to get to Sara's home to fetch the ingredients so yah, all of us met at Woodgrove Primary and the teachers led us to our requested classroom. Not long after we set up the room , the kids came in and oh boy were they super enthusiastic about what was in store for them...
OUr project aim:
Increase the emphasis of healthy lifestyle through healthy eating in primary schools students through conducting hands-on interactive sessions with them, teaching them about the values of eating in moderation and a balanced diet.Hands on as in educating them about healthy eating by teaching them how to prepare simple dishes such as salads and fruit juices. The kids simply enjoyed what they were doing and just the looks on their faces give us even more reason to carry out our project. The whole session was filmed (by me) and it was totally successful because the principal of Woodgrove Primary was obviously pretty impressed with us. :)
OK so after Pilot Test, Durwin, Shuan and I had to rush off once again back to IJC for the Temasek Seminar after a thorough clean up of the classroom. It's so tiring la.. The Temasek Seminar is nothing but crap about how they wanted youths to be more aware of Singapore's various ministries, particularly the Defence Ministry and the SAF. The facilitators made us role play, give presentations, as well as play games and all these lasted till 6 plus plus. omgosh.. I remember going home that day feeling so relief (that the day is finally over) and lethargic! Definitely one of the most tiring days of my life...
Thursday was a long day. Thursday was also yesterday. yeah whatever... Something happened yesterday and I really don't know what to do about it. Why does things have to turn out this way??
Friday. Today. I tried my very best to stay awake in class. Imagine struggling to stay awake when you slept at 1 am on the same day. Man.. I sure got to practise sleeping early from now on... Oh ya and our class missed Geography tutorial because of Emergenetics, which is some kind of a discovering yourself and your personality workshop. Geo postponed to Tuesday from 5pm to 5.50pm. I am and happen to be a "concrete" person because more than half of my pie chart had structural and social thinking on it. According to the facilitator, green (structural people) tend to like homework! That is SO wrong man.. And everyone was like turning to look at me la... wth.
So after emergenetics, which ended around 6pm, Yong Rong, Vaish and I decided to hang out at causeway. Initially, we decided to go catch a movie. You know the one on "pirates of the carribean"? But decided against it because most of our classmates backed out after awhile. Fine so we decided to go for pizza hut but the promotion period was over at 5pm. So finally after much debate, we settled for long john silver, where we met our fellow classmates Sheila, poon khai, mei xing and sin ee. All 3 of us ordered combo 1 for the sake of saving our money because it was one of the cheapest combo around, pricing at 3.60 per set. Eating time was fun. We gossiped, chat and crapped. haha..
I think that's just about the summary of what happened during the week. Meanwhile, I am feeling so stressed because of PW, due to the stupid EoM!! The first draft's due next thursday! HOW?? I am so feeling LOST as in what to do about other particular stuffs as well!!
Should I or should I not??
10:41 AM
Anyone who tries to read this is a PIG!! AAAHH.. why does things have to turn out like this??

4th of July. America's Independent Day. I was born. Yup.. I'm 17 this year. How time flies... I mean I'm already 17! And there's still like 5 more months before the REAL holiday starts.
OK about yesterday. Yesterday was Monday, otherwise known as Youth's Day. 0632A peeps celebrated sam, xing yu and my brithday at the City Hall Kbox. It's so funny having 3 people blowing a cake at once! A mango flavoured one at that.. Yup and it was delicious... Sam got a stuff dog WITH fur while I received a Bugs Bunny soft toy WITHOUT fur from Looney Tunes. LOL. And it was Kbox from 2 to 7pm after which dinner at food court was next. haha we are so squeezed dry of out money man.. Oh and I ate ban mian. Anyways, I so miss being in 32A. Thanks for the celebration! You guys (huifang, xinfang, sam, jewel, xing yu, peggy, yunxuan, ms wang and ms wong) rock!
Oh ya and there's today. I got caught by this GP relief teacher for sleeping in class... Obviously because I was dozing off right under her nose! ok.. I admit it was my fault. But I can't stand the way she talks about VJC... She simply LOVE to compare Innovians with VJC students just to see how stupid we are. Whatever. It just ruins my day.
Oh and my present class 0611A celebrated my birthday today too. I was so shock when the cake arrive la.. It's chocolate flavoured by the way, and it's super duper big. Just nice for 24 of us I think... They also gave me a brithday card in the shape of HB (happy birthday). I skipped lunch just to eat the cake. haha. Anyway I just wanna say a BIG thank you to 11A, for the cake and everything! I really appreciate it.
Yup and when I reached home today and opened the fridge, I saw another cake. This time it was strawberry (MY FAVOURITE FROM PRIMA DELI!). My mom said the family was going to celebrate my birthday tonight. wahhaha. It's been so long since our family gathered around for an event... It's not the celebration that's important. I see it more as an opportunity for the family to get together and do something which was what we haven't do for ages. So looking forward to it. I get to savour my strawberry cake as well. Thanks Mom, Dad, Daryl (my brother), my grandmother and aunt as well!
Not forgetting secondary school friends who wish me well... Thanks trina, Yuying, hweekeng, siok hwa, winnie, kai hui... sorry if I miss out your name. yah and of course my mou mou ren.. lol
Thank you everybody for everything!
