At causeway yesterday, my mom made me pierce my ears!! And wow that was a total experience... I was so petrified when the man in charge ask me to sit down and face the side la. Then came the gun like piercing thingly. I felt the man aiming right at my ear and "PIAK". I felt a sharp pain on my left ear. Almost cried out man... Almost everyone in the store was looking at me, which was rather embarrassing. I felt like a guinea pig. The worst thing was that it was not over. There was still the right ear to go... However in no time came another "PIAK!" and wala.. the job was done! You cannot imagine how relieved I was man... And yup.. it feels so weird to have something stuck at your ear. The man told me that I was supposed to turn the earring every 4 days and after 1 month, I was allowed to take off my present earring and start buying other earrings to wear. He gave me this bottle of alcohol and told me to add afew drops of it twice a day to the area around the earring to prevent infection. I was so in a daze after the whole piercing drama..lol. So glad it's all over.
Oh yah and I celebrated my grandfather's birthday at Crystal Jade yesterday as well, together with my parents, my two aunts and of course, me. It went okay but I think my grandfather doesn't like me. He kept asking where my brother is instead. He was unable to turn up because of NDP training. Oh whatever.. I concentrated on my food instead. The food was GOOD... LOL.
haha and I did CIP last Monday. I overslept and thought of ponning the whole event but after recieving news that 32A peeps were in it, I agreed immediately to go down to help. And it was so pathetic because I was the only JC1 student in SDP that turned up. Yup and we were suppose to bring the clients from MINDS to the chinese garden, which was somewhere in Jurong, to fish for prawns. Initially, I had NO IDEA at all on what we were suppose to do. Heck I don't even know that prawn fishing existed in singapore. Just to inform you that MINDS is an oragnisation caring for people with slower mental ability. At least that was what I thought. Anyway my MINDS partner was Sin Lin, if I recalled correctly... Yup and she's 40 plus this year, unlike the majority who seems to be younger than her. I was quite puzzled then because I thought it only involves children. And I'm still clueless on what MINDS is actually all about... lol. Ya whatever. So after the clients caught their prawns, it was time for them to leave the place and we, SDP plus 32A peeps took over and WHOA was it fun! I caught 3 prawns, Sam and Huifang caught like 5 each? As for Yunxuan, she caught 3 like me haha. And Xinfang caught 1 pathetic prawn... lol. Yup, we had fun and eating our fruits of labour was even funner. Hehe. I know I'm very bad. Oh and that is the day that I revealed my secret after 3 or 4 months to Sam and XinFang. They were like shock la! haha. It was a pretty memorable day.
The matter was resolved. On this very fateful Saturday afternoon, after stoning around for the entire morning, not knowing what to do with my pathetic little miserable life, I decided to leave a message to clarify the matter. We really needed to TALK. Yup and so after that very powerful conversation, I ended up spending 2 days in a fairy tail like memory. The feeling of being freed from a misunderstanding was good... No doubt about it. We were closer than before actually. Alot of things happened during these 2 days.
There's so much things that I wanna update though... Just that this is not the right place to express my true feelings. So this is cheryl signing off.
anything you want to put here. updates, notices, disclaimers.
it's really up to you. a short message, a favourite quote, or a special shoutout. something like...
