Once again it's Friday and because of the fact that IS Friday, shouldn't I be feeling elated? Or at least be relieve that the week is over? So why am I feeling so moody and down??
Why?
Why?
Why?
Well lets see. It could be due to the mountains and I repeat: MOUNTAINS of homeworkS that is waiting to devour me of my freedom...
Umm... It could also be because of the TONS of tests that is going to squeeze my brain juices dry...
My weekends are BURNT!! Totally... And yah I know this is bad. Real bad.
Oh and I guess it's mainly because the stupid promos are nearing with every single day. Do you know that the feeling's like waiting for your death date? There's like less than 40 days left just in case you haven't noticed... Promos, as the name suggests, determines if I am going to pursue a higher level of education in my second year in Innova Junior college. The unfortunate thing is that it is difficult to keep subjects at even the passing grade. Can you imagine? I sure do hope I survive this hurdle that is looming before my pathetic life.
And finally I present the list of things to do for the weekend.
- Chemistry sketchbook (halogen, hydroxy, carbonyl)
- Chemistry tutorials and assignments (hydroxy to carbonyls)
- Maths tutorial 17A
- Collate PW survey results
- Chinese composition
- Study for chemistry test ( reaction kinetics ALL THE WAY TO carbonyls)
- Study for biology test (Medialian genetics)
- Study for geography test (DRQ)
ARRGHH! Someone please save me from this agony! I'm so going to be a goner.

It's Wednesday! I know it's no big deal but I have already survived GP test, chemistry and biology SPA. Wow. That was a feat. At least that's what I thought. I screwed up chem practical today. Imagine asking the invilgilator how to set up a RETORT stand. That's the biggest joke in the century man.. A JC student fancy not knowing how to clamp a retort stand. HAHAHA. Actually that's what happened to me during the O levels. The invigilator for the O level physics prac actually helped me to clamp the stupid pendulum onto the retort stand. You cannot imagine how I felt then. I was SO grateful to her. hahaha. Anyway today, I managed to do it by myself, which was a relieve or else there was no way I could continue with the stupid experiment. Oh yah and when everything was set up and I was prepare to time the reaction, the bubbles didn't appear and I was ASSESSED by the teacher. Totally screwed it. Never mind.. lets just forget about SPA. Thinking of it simply just ruins my day.
There's still 2 more hurdles for the week and I repeat: THE WEEK. There's more to come. It's tough, no doubt about it. I'm taking one step at a time. So tomorrow's maths test which is on vectors and guess what? I haven't even started on it. happy new year to me... Geography test on globalisation is on Friday and you know what? I'm going to screw that as well, considering the fact that I know nuts about human geography. Let's just say I strive much better in physical geog. Yup, I prefer the volcanoes, rivers, waterfalls blah blah blah...
I'm down for flag day this Saturday, which is from 7am to 12.30pm. Morning shift. Doubi Gout's the destination, which so happens to be RCHN headquarters as well. Oh well. There goes my Saturday....

What the hell is wrong with me?? I have gained like 4kg this year!! Argh! How? I tried eating less but sometimes it didn't work though... *Sigh*
Eating is such an enjoyment.
Ok, about life. My life. As usual, there were the ups and downs. Most of the time's neutral though... Plain is the word. I wake up every morning, brush my teeth, eat breakfast, go to school blah blah blah and the cycle goes on and on for every single day.
Lets recount last Wednesday. I missed a whole day of school because of Temasek Seminar. Yupz, Temasek's seminar's all about the MINDef, SAF, military and stuff. You know, scholarships, opportunities to work in the army and what they do in there. Like as if I cared... But it was an enriching experience though. I haven't been to a seminar before.. lol. Well anyway, it has to be pretty prestigious because I saw the seminar being featured in the evening news on TV on the very same day. The minister for Defence was there as well and although I know that I had to pay my fullest attention to the seminar when the minister was giving his speech, I can't help but to steal a wink. Hey I'm not the only one ok.. I think everyone sort of spaced out at least ONCE.
Lunch came and after that was activities and games held around the site. We played minesweeper, human chess and I got to hold a gun too. A REAL one at that. It was damn heavy la.. pity my brother. LOL. Well anyway, I escaped having camouflage cream painted on my face... wahahha. Don't ask me how. I just did, which was a good thing. They showed us the obstacle course, and what soldiers had to do when there are external attacks. They simply just shoot and signal to each other. Must be some kind of code or something...
I think there are still some other events that took place but I just don't remember. So that's just about it for now.
